I am unsure if you were aware that we had a gentleman return from overseas to organize a funeral for his grandmother who had passed away seven days ago. Despite our best efforts to locate him he was uncontactable. This gentleman called in at noon yesterday to advise he had informed his family and friends they were having a funeral for his grandmother at 1pm (in one hour) at our premises. News to us… Thank goodness our other funeral was in another location. He also asked for catering for 20 people (12.15 pm by now with 45 mins before the funeral) I phoned your team and they pulled it out of the hat. Food arrived, attractively presented, in plenty of time. We just had to serve it and make the tea etc. I am so grateful to Absolute. To have to cater with ‘no’ notice astounded me, but you made it possible. The food looked great, and the funeral guests seemed to enjoy it. Left overs were taken by the family. Again thanks to the team, I am grateful. It would appear that nothing is too difficult for Absolute.

The food was fantastic!!! Thanks so much, the feedback was very positive. From an organisers point of view your staff were fantastic, we struck a couple of issues with the venue’s cooling system which meant we had to have the room’s doors open but, the caterers managed to keep everything quiet so there was no disruption to the meeting. All in all a great event. Thanks again.
